With the Ganesha Chaturthi coming, people are filled with joy and there is bliss all over. People plan to visit various tourist places of Ganesha, to seek blessings and get immersed into the holiness of that place.

The holy scriptures of Hinduism state that as soon as one enters these temples, he is freed from several sins. Lord Ganesha takes away all your stresses problems and brings happiness into your lives.

Shri Siddhi Vinayak Temple is unique for a couple of reasons. Legend has it that when Lord Vishnu was engaged in a battle with demons, he was unable to overpower them. Lord Shiva advised Shri Vishnu to invoke Lord Ganesha, the remover of obstacles, and seek his intervention to achieve the divine purpose. Solicited by Shiva, Vishnu meditated on Ganesha and received the powers to kill the twin demons.

Once pleased, the deity grants siddhis or supernatural powers and hence is also called, Siddhi Vinayak. We cannot begin any work without seeking the blessings of the Lord.
